Public Art ‘In Conversation’ Talk

As our city continues to transform through public art, this Public Art ‘In Conversation’ talk is a unique opportunity to hear from one of the artists commissioned to develop these works. Join us for a very special afternoon facilitated by leading arts professional John Waldron in conversation with Stuart Green, commissioned artist of the ‘All Eyes on Us – The Commonwealth Star’ public art commission located on the Surfers Paradise foreshore.

Together Waldron and Stuart will provide a glimpse into the artistic process behind the commission and explore the unique value of site-specific outcomes within the public realm, followed by a visit to the artwork with the artist. The Commonwealth Star was commissioned by City of Gold Coast and Queensland Government for Festival 2018 as part of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
