Gold Coast Open House (GCOH) runs on the power of volunteers. We’re looking for people with a keen interest in architecture, design, community events and the Gold Coast to join us on 10 and 11 October.

Our volunteers help GCOH visitors have the best possible experience: setting up venues, checking people in, answering questions, giving directions and more. You’ll be contributing to a significant community event, showcasing the work of Australian architects, gaining events experience, and networking with design and arts professionals.

- GCOH 2026 takes place 10–11 October 2026.
- You’ll need to be available on either the Saturday or Sunday (or both days, if you like!). Shifts run for 2–6 hours.
- Complete a simple training session with us on Thursday 1 October at 5:30pm via Teams. Register here. This session will also be recorded.
- All volunteers must be 18 years or older, and may be required to stand for periods or walk up and down stairs. If you have any accessibility requirements, please let us know so we can accommodate you.
