VOLUNTEER
ABOUT VOLUNTEERING
Gold Coast Open House is run on the power of volunteers – from the committee to our tour guides and events staff, our event would not happen without the dedication and support of our incredible volunteer team.
We are looking for volunteers to join us for this year’s event. Whether you have a keen interest in architecture and design, are simply passionate about the Gold Coast and getting involved in amazing community events, or are a student, retiree or anything in between – we’d love you to apply!
Your role as a volunteer
Our volunteers help visitors to Gold Coast Open House have the best possible experience. Our volunteer activities include helping to set venues up, checking people in, managing waiting lines, answering questions, helping to give directions or seat people at an event and much more!
As a volunteer, you are the face of Gold Coast Open House on the day. Your role is critical in ensuring the event runs smoothly and we showcase Gold Coast architecture (and people!) at its absolute best.
Benefits of volunteering
The benefits of volunteering for Gold Coast Open House include contributing to a significant Gold Coast community event, making new friends, helping to showcase the work of outstanding local Australian architects and built environment professionals, gaining events industry experience, and the opportunity to network with professionals in the design and arts community.
