Gold Coast Open House is an annual community event that unlocks buildings, places and spaces right across the city – from heritage gems, to private homes and public buildings that reflect our city’s unique architecture and urban design. The festival program includes building tours, panel discussions and other special events.

Gold Coast Open House 2024 will be held across the weekend of 12 – 13 October. There will be some limited special events and panel discussions in the weeks leading up to the festival weekend. Sign up to our newsletter or follow us on social media to make sure you receive the latest updates.

Gold Coast Open House offers a range of open events and tours, however some require a booking due to limited capacity. Please check the program page for the events or buildings you are interested in to see registration requirements.

All events and tours in the Gold Coast Open House program are free to attend thanks to our generous partners and donors.

Yes! The Gold Coast is full of gems, big and small, unknown and known. If you have a building, place or space that you think would make a great addition to our program we would love to know about it.

If you’d like to participate by opening a building or sponsoring Gold Coast Open House, we’d love to discuss our range of participation and sponsorship opportunities with you. Gold Coast Open House would not be able to take place without the generosity of our program participants and partners.

Please get in touch via info@goldcoastopenhouse.com.au to discuss how you would like to participate.
