KDV Golf & Tennis Academy

KDV Sport, the first building in its own right for Hiromi Lauren, a former associate of 20 years with Harry Seidler and Associates, won the Australian Institute of Architects Queensland design award for commercial architecture in June 2017.

The project involved a $20 million makeover for the former Carrara Gardens Golf Course into a state of the art, one stop shop sports complex that aims to produce world-class athletes.

The airy, transparent design is distinctive and blends with the natural surrounds, letting outside in and inside out. Features include day and night golf course, chip and putt area, driving range, tennis clay and hardcourts, padel tennis courts, outdoor/undercover swimming pool, gym, sauna, ice baths, pro shop, mini golf, reception, restaurant, function rooms, outdoor BBQ area and children’s playground.
