The Cheshire Cat Motel is a beloved Palm Beach icon that has been thoughtfully restored to capture the essence of mid-century beach culture. Once a classic roadside stop, this retro gem now offers a vibrant blend of nostalgic charm and contemporary design.

Owners Matty Roberts and Monique Luchterhand guideed visitors through the motel's transformation relaying the challenges and triumphs of restoring this 1960s landmark.

The motel's uniquely designed rooms were open, each reflecting a playful nod to 1970s style with a touch of Palm Springs flair. The renovation preserved the building's original character while introducing modern comforts. From the terracotta-tiled plunge pool to the lush greenery of 'Le Plunge,' every detail has been carefully curated.

During Gold Coast Open House, visitors had the unique opportunity to explore a piece of Gold Coast history and witness the meticulous restoration of a cherished landmark.
