Join Gold Coast Open House as a volunteer!

Do you have have a keen interest in architecture and design, or are you simply passionate about the Gold Coast and getting involved in amazing community events? Whether you’re a student, a retiree or anything in between – we’d love you to join our Gold Coast Open House 2022 crew as a volunteer.

Gold Coast Open House is run on the power of volunteers – from the committee to our tour guides and events staff, our event would not happen without the dedication and support of our incredible volunteer team. Our volunteer activities include helping to set venues up, checking people in, managing waiting lines, answering questions, helping to give directions or seat people at an event and much more!

By volunteering for Gold Coast Open House you’ll be contributing to a significant Gold Coast community event, making new friends, and helping to showcase the work of outstanding local Australian architects and built environment professionals. If you’re a student, you’ll also be gaining events industry experience, and the opportunity to network with professionals in the design community.

Volunteers will receive first access to view buildings they are volunteering at, a limited edition GCOH 2022 tote bag, and an invitation to our invite-only thank you event.
