The City of Gold Coast Advanced Resource Recovery Centre (the ARRC) are working on a plan to end our reliance on landfill and create a sustainable future for the Gold Coast. Good friends of the ARRC, scrapboy and dirtgirl of ABC’s dirtgirlworld and Get Grubby TV were in attendance and kids were encouraged to join them and enjoy:
- Free nature craft activities with scrapboy and dirtgirl
- Discovering how a $1.6 billion state-of-the-art integrated circular economy precinct will divert up to 97% of waste from landfill
- Discounts on home composting equipment for eligible residents through the ARRC Compost Revolution program and being a part of Australia’s largest community of composters.
