Calling photographers of all ages! The Gold Coast Open House Photographic Competition is back, giving you the chance to explore and capture the incredible buildings, places, and spaces featured in this year’s program — and share in $1,000 worth of prizes.
Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just love taking photos, this is your opportunity to showcase the city from your perspective. You can enter up to one photo in each of five categories, and all entries go into the running to win the Overall Prize.
Entry Dates
Photos must be taken on: Friday 26, Saturday 27, or Sunday 28 September 2025
Entries open: 10:00 AM AEST, Saturday 27 September 2025
Entries close: 5:00 PM AEST, Sunday 12 October 2025
How to Enter
Submit your image(s) through the official entry form below.
You may submit one image per category (max of five entries total)
Images must be original and taken by you, and submitted in jpg format.
Entry Guidelines & Conditions
Photos must be taken at or within a featured building or location in the official 2025 Gold Coast Open House program during the event weekend. All entries must meet the eligibility criteria and be submitted via the official website before the deadline. Entries may be disqualified if they include inappropriate content or breach the competition rules. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges, with the Overall Winner chosen from a shortlist of finalists. Winners will be notified by phone or email and announced publicly in November 2025.
By entering, you retain ownership of your photo but grant Gold Coast Open House a royalty-free license to use your image for promotional purposes — with full credit given to you as the photographer.
