CORNERBLOCK, a commercial building in Arundel, is redefining what is possible for sustainable commercial builds. It is a real world example of what can be achieved when sustainability, energy efficiency and human well-being are not only taken into account, but made the core focus of the building's design.
Materials and methods were chosen based on a criterion of sustainable raw materials, longevity, maintenance required and architectural aesthetic. By looking at every material’s full circle of lifecycle cost, both monetary and environmentally, choices were made with the priority of reducing both.
Join CORNERBLOCK designer Ben Sinclair for a daily Q&A session at 11am to discuss CORNERBLOCK's sustainable design journey (bookings essential).
