See Varsity Lakes through a new lens on this special walking tour with Amy Degenhart and Martyn Shedd of degenhartSHEDD.
“Through attention to detail and sensitivity to people’s needs, Varsity Lakes has become more than just a residential development. It’s a vibrant community that gives its people a wonderful environment in which to live, work and play; a model for future such projects throughout Queensland and elsewhere.” – The Hon Anna Bligh, Former Premier of Queensland
Come and see the heart of the Varsity Lakes project – including some of its innovative affordable housing models – through the eyes of an urban designer, project manager, community organisation directors, architect and long-term resident on a walking tour that will provide a new perspective on this international award-winning master planned community.
In this Varsity Central tour, we will visit some of the first small freehold terrace lots in Queensland (5m x 25m), famous laneways, creative public/private interfaces, funky warehouse districts, sohos, shoptops, and much more. Join us to hear some new stories of this established and well-loved community.
