Following its refurbishment, Burleigh Heads library is the first to organise its resources by genre or subject, helping showcase what’s on offer and enabling customers to browse and find items more easily.
In recent years, libraries have been evolving to embrace new technologies, entertainment streaming, working from home and the changing needs of older customers.
Library design consultant Kevin Hennah will join us on site for an informative talk on the design trends in libraries, and how design is helping libraries maintain relevance. He’ll showcase some innovative library designs and discuss the considerations and changes that went into the refurbishment of the library.
