GOLD COAST OPEN HOUSE 2025
The Gold Coast Open House (GCOH) was held on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September, offering an exciting weekend across the city.
This city-wide celebration opened the doors to a diverse range of architecture—ranging from iconic historic homes to cutting-edge contemporary buildings. Visitors explored hidden gems, innovative infrastructure, and community spaces that shaped the Gold Coast’s culture and identity.
With an unforgettable lineup of events, including Living Legacies: Gold Coast Modernism Revisited and a full day of insightful panel discussions at Griffith University, thought leaders and experts explored the future of urban spaces in a coastal setting.
This year, GCOH was also thrilled to have partnered with the SWELL Sculpture Festival for a special event that celebrated art, architecture, and community. This unforgettable evening brought together creatives and supporters, all in support of keeping Gold Coast Open House a free and accessible event for years to come.
