Built by volunteers 55 years ago and funded by loans from local families, the Tom Atkin Hall in Tugun is home to the (91-year old!) Tugun Progress Association.
Recent and ongoing fundraising is giving the hall a much-needed facelift, enabling it to serve another half century of community service, have a civic street presence and become a place of community pride...after all, it is the only community owned hall in the city and still run by volunteers. Come and visit this cute hall of yesteryear and see the renovation and plans for the next stages of rejuvenation.
