The design of the Langham, Gold Coast, was inspired by quartz crystals from the geomorphology of the region. The building employs sophisticated facade technologies to ensure shading from sun and shelter from the wind, delivering a five-star, greenstar building that is as dramatic as it is sustainable.
Raith Anderson, Architect and Managing Director of DBI Architects, will present the overall history, concept, and project outline. John O'Shea, General Manager of the Langham Hotel. will lead a walk through the front-of-house areas of the hotel and the conference facilities. Depending on availability, we may visit one of the serviced apartments which form part of the Langham Residences.
