Step inside TAFE Queensland's Robina campus, a leader in sustainable education on the Gold Coast. As Australia's first Vocation Education and Training (VET) campus built with sustainability at its core, it was designed to nurture both the planet and its people. From rigorous recycling programs and e-bike charging stations to a campus-wide ban on single-use plastics, every detail reflects a commitment to a sustainable world.
The campus is the first VET institution in Australia to achieve a SILVER rating under the renowned Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS) and proudly stands as a member of The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN).
Visitors can explore spaces crafted from recycled materials and eco-friendly finishes that minimise environmental impact. Beyond education, Robina offers a variety of public services, including a café, restaurant, beauty and hair salon, fitness centre, and event space. These outlets serve as real-world eco-friendly training environments for students, who deliver exceptional services under the expert guidance of teachers and professionals.
Robina campus has won several international awards for its building, fit out and commitment to sustainability, and seamlessly blends creating a future that’s not just brighter—but greener.
